Hi and Welcome to Blue Heron Wellness
The Great Blue Heron symbolizes being calm, present, peaceful, and balanced.
The Blue Heron asks you to look inside and nurture all aspects of yourself. Embrace your “flaws”, uniqueness, and feelings of shame with self-love.
This symbol urges a deeper trust in one’s inner wisdom, suggesting that our instinctive understanding and gut feelings are often pathways to profound insights and guiding truths in decision-making. Take a deep breath, stand in each moment, feel the full spectrum of emotions, and lead with your heart.
Blue Herons walk slowly or stand still for long periods of time when waiting to catch fish, trusting that what they need will come to them at the right time.
About Libby
My trauma informed clinical approach is relational and person-centered. I honor the importance of meaning-making in therapy and see the task of therapy as encouraging connection and relationship with self and others. I believe there is healing in connection and that embracing vulnerability in a safe place fosters this growth. I strive to bring authenticity, genuineness, and mutual empathy into the therapeutic relationship and to honor the fact that the process of counseling takes great courage.
